The destination filter and comparison calculator work in your browser. Calculator entries are not submitted or saved by our site scripts. Destination filters can appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share a selection; visiting a shared address can record its query in normal hosting logs. Do not enter personal or sensitive information in the search box.
Hosting and locally served photographs
Page and image requests can appear in standard hosting logs, including the requested address, time and technical request information. Retention depends on the hosting configuration. Our website photographs are served locally; the site no longer needs Wikipedia or Wikimedia image lookups to display them. Following an attribution link is a separate visit to that external website.
Third-party bookings and embedded services
Rail Europe, Viator and Trip.com operate their own services and privacy practices. Embedded hotel and activity content can contact those providers when loaded and may use cookies or other tracking. Outbound affiliate links can carry referral identifiers. Browser privacy controls may prevent some embedded content from displaying.
Payments and external sites
This website does not collect card details or issue travel tickets. The retailer or service provider handles your purchase, personal information, refunds and booking support. Review its privacy information before submitting details. See affiliate information and booking help.
